Re: running out of space on / dir
Hmm, do you think its possible to link a / to a folder on another
partition or another partition itself? the issue is I can install a app
I need because /usr is mounted on /... I know big mistake and I have
learned not to do that again.... since /usr and /usr/local are where
apps are put I figured I would just make a link from /usr to a dir on
another empty partition. If one of these methods or both are possible I
would appreciate you pointing me in the right dir. so that I may read
how to accomplish this.
Thanks in advance

I do this all of the time, however not for / but for
whatever subdir that is filling up /.
