I'm typing this  on a 760E with that display. I've  never had much
luck  getting 4.x  to work,  but that's  mainly because  3.3 works
perfectly for me  and I haven't bothered putting  much effort into
it. Email me privately if you want my XF86Config.

Mine is:

    HorizSync   30 - 80
    VertRefresh 40-150
