Well, it all depends on what you're going to do, but this one will bite
you on the ass the first time you install a package that has any scripts
that run as part of the install (they run out of /var).

You can always remount /var before you install something, but it's
horribly frustrating to track this one down.

So, I'm voting for 'too tight'.
