I didn't manually rebuilt a lot. It took that long because I upgraded some
machines from 3.0 to 3.1 while touching them anyway (yes, these had an
outage of one reboot), I screwed up in between and lost hours discussing a
bad patch that wasn't bad and because I have no fast sparc or alpha and
compilation on these took ages.

oh come on, the worst thing is a killed sshd. need to use serial console
then. what a disaster.
