Thanks to all the developers!
(sorry for the pvs. post.. yes, I'm an idiot)
Been reading some irate posts by people about the remote exploit in opsnssh
etc..
I'd like to say thank you to all the developers at this point..
Your hard work is really appreciated..
I'm fairly new to the OpenBSD world, I've been using fbsd for the past few
years, and right from the obsd install, I was truly impressed with the os..
it's quick, clean, and makes my crappy p100 firewall sing with joy.
It's comforting to know that while I'm working at my own job, there are people
that are constantly trying to find and fix bugs, and improve the os..
For everyone.. not just for themselves, but for me as well....
I think that's just awesome, and I for one am greatly appreciative..
Thanks again from Calgary
Nick
(re: the 'are you helping' comments.. no.. I'm not, but I'd like to.. not sure
what I can offer at this point, who would I talk to about contributing my
time.. you don't want my code.. (yet) but is there any other way that the
casual user can lend a hand?)
