DNS resolver library exploit.

Wondering if someone can clear up for me what is
potentially affected by this vulnerability.  I'm
concerned about potential remote exploitation... For
example, is a mail server running Postfix vulnerable? 
What about a Squid proxy?  Both of these programs use
DNS, so I'd guess that they are indeed vulnerable, but
I'd like to have some reassurance that my logic is
correct.
