No, this is called "upgrade", but all it does is format your disks and
spread your credit card number on the internet.

Actually, this is scarcely known, but in the same directory where you
would fetch the boot floppy image, there is a file named INSTALL.i386
that attempts to document what the boot floppy does and how to use it.

Perhaps you should start by reading it, instead of the upgrade mini-faq?
