patched, compiled and no network

i just applied the 001_kadmin.patch, 002_pfbridge.patch and the 004_pool.patch
to 3.2, the patch applied just fine no errors,i compiled the patched kernel,
restarted and cannot ping outside of the box ( can ping it's own nic ). so i
thought " fine reboot with bsd.old " did that still cannot ping past the boxes
own nic. i'm running on a 2 machine network with a cross over cable connecting
them. i don't see any errors of any kind in the message log, or boot up, on
either machine. anyone else experienced this?
