Okay, lets try this again.
1) You should care.
2) What happens in America sooner or later affects the entire world. No
one is immune. Anywhere.
3) The idea that such quaint notions as national borders will protect you
from American domination and control is naive, to say the least.
4) Politics does matter, and if you think they will just leave you alone,
and allow you to defy them, you are mistaken. You really need to get out of
the house more often.
5) This is exactly the correct place to discuss such issues. Resistance is
futile. Prepared to be educated.
