Re: user '0'??

Well, it looks to me like you deleted your root user from /etc/passwd.  
I'd suggest adding it back in before logging off, or before your next 
reboot.  If your regular userid is in /etc/sudoers, you're probably ok 
to 'sudo vipw' or 'sudo vi /etc/passwd' and fix it by hand.  If not, 
you may need to boot from cd, or into single user to fix this.
