Re: FAQ 3.3
A little typo in http://www.openbsd.org/faq/pf/macros.html
Bottom paragraph:
The macro $all_hosts now expands to 192.168.1.1, 192.168.1.2.
Should be:
The macro $all_hosts now expands to 192.168.1.1 192.168.1.2.

=============================================================
As with everything in the FAQ, it is intended to suppliment the on-line
man pages, not replace them, but if you have been looking to understand
some of the more advanced topics of PF, check it out.
Also, as with everything in the FAQ, the PF FAQ is going to stay in a
perpetual state of enhancement and revision for quite some time. This
is not just a "beginner's" document anymore, check out the sections of
it:
Configuration
Lists and Macros
Tables
Options
Scrub
Queueing
Network Address Translation
Traffic Redirection
Packet Filtering
Logging
Anchors and Named (Sub) Rule Sets
Shortcuts for Creating Rule Sets
Address Pools and Load Balancing
Performance
Issues with FTP
Example: Firewall for Home or Small Office
(Can you tell I'm a little excited about this? In all honesty, this was
my most exciting commit since my very first with the project.)
Tom Cosgrove has been kind enough to start spinning out .PDF files of
the PF FAQ, also in the same /pub/OpenBSD/doc directory mentioned above
(first one is already there!)
Thanks to Sam Smith, Tom Cosgrove, Saad Kadhi, Horacio, and all the
others who have helped me proof-read and error check the FAQ. I'd also
like to thank the translation team
(http://www.openbsd.org/translation.html) for all their hard work.
Nick.
