Re: Donations after new releases.



It's not so much a question of wether or not it's obvious that they need money 
(or how much).  We all know that if we want our favorite OS to get better 
faster and for longer the more money we donate the better it is for the 
project.

The main idea here is to be able to "track" our efforts as a community. 

I think that everyone would agree with me here  that seing steady donation 
flows is a very encouraging thing for other project supporters. 

Since we are not all the best coders, we cannot all contribute to the project 
technically.  Therefore we give a few bucks to the project in the hopes that 
it may help the developers do their work. 

In short, it would be nice to have an approx. idea of just how much we're 
contributing to the success of OpenBSD.
