Hi all!
I've been using OpenBSD for a few years, mostly on i386
platform and a litle less on sparc and ultra-sparc platform.
Last month, my institution gave me an Apple Powerbook (Titanium).
I've tried (successfully, I think...) install OpenBSD 3.3 on it,
but I'm unable to boot it.
I've followed the INSTALL.macppc instructions on the install
procedure. The disk was re-partitioned and MacOS was re-installed
before I sarted install OpenBSD.
The rest of the instalation process was painless.
I have a doubt... I've copied ofwboot on macosx to a HFS partition
but I'm not sure about if it is the right place or not.
When I get into Openfirmware I type the following command:
> boot hd,ofwboot
and I get a blank screen with a crossed circle (like a prohibition
signaling).
Could anyone help?
BTW, I'm not sure, but I've been told the DVD doesn't work in RW
mode and there are some issues with the audio, right?
If I could, I'd prefer using OpenBSD only.
Thanks in advance,
Pedro
