I have just resently installed an I mac and I used

boot hd;,ofwboot /bsd

just like they told me in the unstallation instructions.
In your boot comand, I miss the ";" and the /bsd.
(For installation I used bsd.rd, no reaseon for a boot disk)
And i changed the boot disk entry in OpenFirmware to the
same value to boot everytime in OpenBSD.

It works nice execpt for one problem mentioned in the
installation instructions with repeating keys.
