Messed up /usr
I have an interesting problem.
My /usr filesystem was getting quite full so I thought I would transport it
to another bigger one. I created a /test partition using disklabel and newfs
and then moved /usr to /test using sudo mv /usr/* /test Then naturally
nothing worked anymore. I realised this too late however.
Is there any way to undo this stupid mistake??
I know this is a newbie mistake but I am a newbie. All I need to save is my
/home partition. I am OK with installing all over again if necessary, but I
would prefer something less radical. The only thing I need to change is my
/etc/fstab file and everything should work I presume. Does anyone have
ideas. I tried to find a way to grow my fs but I did not find anything on
the web. Does anyone have sugestions??
Thanks,
Newbie Sander
