cvsup W/O X?

I wnat to be able to update my new 3.3 machine using cvsup, but when I went
to build the cvsup port it complained that I did not have X installed. 

As this is a firewall, and will ultimetly have a serial console, I don't
need X.

On FreeBSD, there is a version of cvsup suitable for use without X. Does
such a thing exist in FreeBSD?
