RC means release candidate. Unless there are significant problems with it,
9.2.2rc1 will become 9.2.2, else there will be a 9.2.2rc2, which will hopefully
become 9.2.2 (referred to as 9.2.2 final). So we have:
final > rc > beta > alpha > development
IMHO, this is not the best way to manage releases, but I'm not the BIND release
manager, so my opinion doesn't count.
