Actually I was just looking at that hardware you mentioned in the URL.
No PCMCIA slot, just a PCI and a mini-PCI. There is a PCI model, but it
looks visually to me like a PCI card/w the PCMCIA card glued to it ;-).
I've never used, and probably never would because it only has the one
RP-TNC connector on it (I prefer to use diversity if possible)
The MiniPCI model of the Cisco 802.11b 352 series is:
AIR-MP20B-A-K9
Once again, under $100. You'd have to manually establish a pigtail (have a cable custom made)
This is the product that Cisco uses to add .b to their 1200 series AP
and I cant imagine it wouldn't be the exact same chipset as see in the
PCMCIA and PCI models, but don't quote me.
There's also yet another model they sell, I think as a stand-alone IC of
use in integrating onto laptop Motherboards and other embedded devices,
but that's hard to get retail.
