No, it isn't.

That's trivial:

- exit wsmoused before starting X, and re-start after exiting X
  # kill $(</var/run/wsmoused.pid)
- use protocol microsoft and device /dev/tty00 in xf86config

Of course, if it still doesn't work, check out the other protocols.
