The AMD64 port needs either gcc 3.2/3.3 in the base system (which is
something I am working for my tree - gcc 3.3 is too broke but gcc 3.2
looks promising, I'll start working with it again in 1-3 weeks), or
an external toolchain, just like NetBSD exercises.

Then, it's one developer (IIRC art) who has an experimental AMD64 tree,
but he says you can't run it in bochs, you'll need a real K8 for it.
(I wish I had one...)
