Re: 64Bit

Quoting Mark Twain (judas_iskario@web.de):

Recall that the Alpha is a 10+ year old architecture.
BSDs of all 3 flavors have run on it for several several
years. SPARC has been 64 bit for 6-7 years, and the BSDs
(again, all 3 free flavors) run on it right now and have
for a bit. One hopes that the Apple "G5" machines would get
ported to in 64bit (machines are just barely shipping and
docs may not be available quite yet).

So if YOUR new to 64bit, welcome. I've been using 64 bit
for over a decade. (I'm waiting for *65* bit computers -
twice the address space :)
