no, doesn't mean you're stupid. mostly everyone familiar with samba on
a linux arena expects the things you tried to work. i looked for them
initally too.
what your question *does* mean is that you've probably done absolutely no
searching on this subject whatsoever, and in lieu of that, thought to pop
into misc@ for a "quick answer to a simple question".
my wife told me earlier tonight : ~"you're gonna have to start just
ignoring them, you're reading the man pages for them and giving the answer
away.". therefore, i am not going to spell it out, as then you would
be getting the easy quick answer you want.
instead, you might try searching any archives of this mailing list for what
you put in the subject of the email.
you could not be bothered to go to google and search there
for "openbsd mount_smbfs"!? this pisses knowledgeable people and senior
users off and you might earn yourself a chip on their shoulder when you most
need some constructive advice!
do people suddenly have the impression that openbsd is the haven for ppl
who are less than well equipped to utilize the tools publicly available
and well documented to find answers?
i thought it used to be the other way around. ( = good )
maybe it's too much Press...

might increase success using a -t ?
