Hmph - allow me to be pedantic here. I did not have an install
problem so reading the archives was not indicated by the words on the
web page. There are other mailing lists under the "other mailing
lists" but not the newbie one. I reiterate - why is it not on the web
page? Fobbing people off with a blithe "read the archives" when the
person has no clue what they are looking for[1] is not a good thing.
[1] Yes, really - this case is not "I have a frobnitz v0.4 model fubar
which I want to get working" in that case searching the archives for
that string would work but how do you manage to winnow out the nugget
about a newbie friendly list?
