Maybe though the first error was that / was full and I got past that
the point. The problem of the panic on bootup is still a show-
stopper.
Would it be solved by a less porky kernel (which I am in no position
to build myself) ? I'm having trouble believing that the 11MB spare
isn't enough to boot in.
