Something for 3.5 ?
At first:
OpenBSD 3.4 released and I'm happy.
I updated my router and all works well :o)
And so a big thx to all the people wich work so hard for OpenBSD. :o)
But after the 3.4 install I asked myself inside:
When will OpenBSD change the compiler to a newer version?
Why can't I run seti and where is the port?
You told me there "many" ports and that's damn right. But the ports I use
are "out-of-date".
I think you don't use nmap (3.00 -> 3.48) or nessus (nessus-1.2.7 -> 2.08a)
very offen or?. :)
Other ports are (naer to be) up2date (like pure-ftpd-1.0.16a). :o)
I don't know where the problem with nmap is but I (repeat..) am not a coder
or codehacker and I just compiled the source from nmap but nmap dosn't work
correctly.
And I don't know (may be there's a way) but is there a system in OpenBSD-3.X
include which chcks my installed packages and update the packages if it's
required? (and know I wont write any scripts, it could be include like *cvs.
Maybe like "pkg_check -A(ll)")
Last but not least: Good work guys, realy :o)
