Hello there.
I have a little problem with a ethernet bridge over a giftunnel.
I have followed the instructions on the brconfig manpage to set it ip (except i havent done the ipsec stuff yet.).
This is how it looks (sort of, and excuse my really bad ascii-painting skills :) ).
Lan 1 ---- fxp0 [Openbsd Machine] fxp1(gif0) --------- internet --------- fxp1(gif0) [Openbsd Machine] fxp0 ----- Lan2.
Bridge is setup using fxp0 and gif0 at both openbsd machines.
I can acess hosts on Lan1 from Lan2 and vice versa, but i can't access fxp0 on "the other end" of the tunnel from any of the Lan's.
Or the "other end's openbsd" machine.
I can see the arp request passing the gif0 interfaces on both machines, and the reply, but it doesnt seem to get through to the host
that made the arp request. (except for arp request that are for a ip on any of the two lan's).
Anyone of you out there has any setup's similar to this?
Any ideas how to fix the problem?
Sorry for my bad english.
If the answer is in the faq (i have been doing alot of rtfm:ing) then feel free to flame me :)
/Kristoffer.
