Subject: Off topic: developers/project manager needed

Please forgive this post to the list but I'm assuming that a) this is a
subject of great interest to many of you and b) that OpenBSD gurus are
amongst the top echelon of developers/network admins out there.

I've neglected this for a long time but I need to get it moving - its
a sourceforge project called karmic to deal with spam by attacking the
very business model that sustains it (profit / bandwidth costs) and by
providing a distributed, mass moderated blacklist of URL's and spam
e-mails (using a fingerprinting algorithm).

The goal of the project will is to create a distributed database of
spam content and URLs over a peer-to-peer network (preferably - for
robustness). The database will feature mass moderation by anyone running
the software and thus enable individual filter threshold settings for
mail and web proxies.

It will also feature a screen-saver type client which will display the
latest database entires and can be set (at the users preference) to
crawl them in the background sending the results to /dev/null. It could
also display stats on the ever slowing ping responses of those sites and
thus provide some entertainment.

More details at http://karmic.sourceforge.net
thx, Gary
