Adaptec 29320R
Hi,
I found that the Adaptec 29320 (with AIC-7902) and all the AIC-79x are
not supported by OpenBSD.
In http://www.openbsd.org/plus.html, I found
> Huge sync of ahc(4) to NetBSD, which in turn is sync'd to FreeBSD.
> Many bugs fixed, several left to fix
In http://netbsd.gw.com/cgi-bin/man-cgi?ahc++NetBSD-current, I found
> The ahc device driver supports SCSI controllers based on Adaptec
> AIC77xx
> and AIC78xx SCSI host adapter chips found on many motherboards as well

In
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?
query=ahc&apropos=0&sektion=0&manpath=FreeBSD+5.2-
RELEASE+and+Ports&format=html, I found
> This driver provides access to the SCSI bus(es) connected to Adaptec
> AIC7770, AIC7850, AIC7860, AIC7870, AIC7880, AIC7890, AIC7891, AIC7892,

(ahc) has no support for AIC-79xx on Open/Free/NetBSD.
I found that FreeBSD has a new driver named (ahd)

I wonder if a new driver will appear on OpenBSD soon to handle the new
chips.
Do you have any information ?
Thanks
