cryptographic filesystem options

I have done my reasearch. I see both tcfs and cfs in the archives.
However, are there other options that I could investigate? I am
interested in transparent, crypto filesystems, and maybe even utilities
to encrypt files and directories. What am I missing between these two?

Documentation for both of these _really_ sucks. I have gotten cfs
running on a USB pen drive, but I would like more complete (if there is
anything else to know) besides the man pages and the paper written by
Matt Blaze.

If anyone is willing, I'd love to hear some tcfs vs. cfs arguments. This
is a bit offtopic, but I think it is relevent and will be helpful to
users in this community.
