My problem continues with DFE-580TX NIC

Hi all,

Two weeks ago I have posted a question about quad
ethernet NICs. Finally, we have bought D-Link
DFE-580TX nic and my problems began.

a) I have patched the kernel with the following patch
as somebody said me:

http://citadelle.intrinsec.com/mailing/current/HTML/ml_openbsd-bugs/2641.html.

but this patch fails (i´ll try to do manually later
but I can´t compile the kernel with this patch
applied).

b) In /var/log/dmesg continuously appears messages
like this:

ste1: transmission error: 90
ste1: tx underrun, increasing tx start threshold to 60
bytes
ste1: transmission error: 90
ste1: tx underrun, increasing tx start threshold to
120 bytes
ste0: transmission error: 90
ste0: tx underrun, increasing tx start threshold to
240 bytes
ste1: transmission error: 90
ste1: tx underrun, increasing tx start threshold to
180 bytes

I lost packets like Neal says some weeks ago. (This
OpenBSD is on production environment).

Can I solve this problem (or is not possible)??? Can I
reduce the lost of packages ????

Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english.
