While we are looking at emulators, why not using simulators directly? Then
you can even specify your simluated architecture (sparc, x86-32/64 bits...),
and run whatever OS on it (including your favorite *BSD)
Take a look at Virtutech's SIMICS (www.virtutech.se), but it's unfortunately
hard to get a license for it. There are some open source simulators
available as well, but no name that I can remember on the spot. Suggestions
anyone?
