Hi,
ISO-Image: cd34.iso
lspci output (from gentoo linux if that makes difference):
02:02.0 Ethernet controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4401 100Base-T (rev 01)
I'm trying to get openbsd up on my Notebook (Acer Travelmate 803LMi) the
install procedure seems to be fine but at the point where I should
configure my network no usable devices are found.
I had a look in the hardware list and my card _should_ be supported
according to this:
http://www.openbsd.org/cgi-bin/man.cgi?query=bce&sektion=4
correct me if I got that wrong.
I also tried to find out how to 'load kernel modules' which brought me
to ifconfig
ok boot up again (with the cd) start a shell
ifconfig bce create
NO DEVICE CONFIGURED (well not exactly but I sadly forgot to write it
down)
also the dmesg output finds the card but says something about "not
configured"
of course if you guys need the exact quote of the messages I'll write
them down, but I think you can tell better how to get to the really
important stuff to tell :)
any help would be great, did I get the module thing wrong, or anything,
I really don't know where I should start in the docs cause this
is my first bsd.
thx
Martin
