Hi guys, I'm new user of this ml, pleasure to know you (and sorry for
my english)
I have a question about Apache: why user www have a home directory in
/var/www and not in /dev/null for example? It's necessary so that
Apache reads the files? (I don't think...).
Justly www user has a shell /sbin/nologin and this is more main point.
Another thing I believe that is better if the owner of the directories
are root:www, with a drwxr-x--- permission for example (nothing for
the others).
regards
Rev`
