What is to stop you from downloading the 3.6 install floppy and doing
a ftp upgrade, or making your own cd and upgrading that way? Or better
yet, buying the official 3.6 CD and upgrading that way? Source
upgrades are tricky, and you should only attempt if you really do know
what you are doing (And don't need much help from misc@).
