They (in general) detect whatever is in their "virus definition" file.
If there were an OpenBSD virus, and it was characterized in the virus
definition file, then it would be detected. Offhand, I'm not aware of
any virii (?) that OpenBSD is vulnerable to so primarily the value of
scanning on OpenBSD is to help protect weaker OS's.
