How much of a logic leap is it for you to search for the words "soekris 1621"? Surely you're joking.

Stop thinking like a Linux user. If there is a driver (which there is, the sis), it will already be in GENERIC.

I just searched on soekris 1621 on the archive and got some hits; NONE of which clearly state if the card is supported.

Before you try to insult someone, you might make sure you get the hits yourself.

Google will also return newsgroup hits when you switch to "groups".

The archive does not have the same powerful search engine google has. Only google has it, so I can understand it use as a last resort.

I'm tired of people with unecessary posts that offer no help; venting their frustration- if you don't want to help don't post!

If I post and nobody responds, then I assume I've asked the question in the wrong newsgroup, don't understand the issue well enough yet myself, or didn't ask the it correctly. In any case, I do some more research and then post better information the next time.
