I have a few V10000's running 3.6 just dandy. All obstacles I have had 
running these boards have always been either memory or disk related, so 
I'm very happy with these boards. A `make build` takes about two hours 
on my development box.

Dunno about your other questions (try mini-itx.com?), but here's a dmesg
