Audio/IDE CD troubles

I must say, I love OpenBSD, and understand that it is a fairly young
project, and more time is taken to work out bugs (unlike FreeBSD).

Alas, a few problems are getting to me.

I have a Soundblaster AWE64 (kernel views it fine as a standard sb16
"sb0 at isa0 port 0x220-0x237 irq 5 drq 1: dsp v4.16"), and I assume
/dev/audi and /dev/sound are the device files for playing sound, however I
can't get programs like mp3 players, wav players etc to interact with the
/dev devices, secondly..the xcd port wont use my cd rom, it's a reveal 4x
(IDE):
acd0 at atapibus1 drive 0: <FX001DE, B04> ATAPI 5/cdrom removable
acd0: 689Kb/sec, 128Kb cache, audio play, 255 volume levels
kernel seems to accept it ok, and cdplayer /dev/racd0c (or however you
specify the device :P) gives me an I/O error. I understand that it just
may be the ole reveal, it does suck, but I gotta ask, maybe I'm doing
something wrong?
