Re: 3com 3c905b-tx

:Is the 3com PCI 3c905b-tx ethernet card supported by OpenBSD-2.3?

No. Didn't work for me anyway. If you force the kernel to recognize the
card and treat it like an older 3C905, it still doesn't work. Same is
true for FreeBSD 2.x and 3.x.

:If not, what is the recommended best ethernet card to buy?
:(Will be used on 10baseT, but if it's upgradable to 100baseT that's
:cool too.)

I've been finding cheap prices on the Kingston KNE100, which is a
garden-variety DEC Tulip card. Seems to work fine.
