See the respective WWW sites (www.openbsd.org or www.freebsd.org). OpenBSD
emphasises security and bug-free operation, operates on several platforms
and integrates cryptography where appropriate. I can't speak for FreeBSD
but they have a large installed base on the PC platform and relatively new
ports to other architectures
