2.4amiga mgetty port doesn't work :-(

Hi there,

I happily installed the mgetty port, which compiled like a
charm. Having answered the many questions I read the mgetty manual.

I put mgetty in /etc/ttys on /dev/ttyM0 (the cua part of /dev/ttyA0,
which is a serial port for the MultiFace3 Amiga expansion board).

I am using a USR Sportster Vi on that port.

I am dialing out using chat (called by pppd) over /dev/ttyM0.

Since mgetty is on on ttyM0 dialup doesn't work anymore. I don't see
where pppd/chat put their lock files. Maybe that's the problem, that
mgetty doesn't see the dialout locks and doesn't go out of the way?

I can supply detailed mgetty logs and /etc/ttys snaps.
Who would like to help me?
