Xaccess question

Quick question/comment:

I've been busy setting up a system.  I wanted to run xdm so that I could
have an X login screen presented.  It worked just fine.

I noticed, however, that the default contents of the Xaccess file allows 
anyone to call up an X login from my xdm.  Urq.  I simply commented out 
the two offending lines, but it occurs to me that this might be unwanted 
default behavior.
