Could it be RF interference?  Okay, that's a long shot but we've just had
two Windows boxes lose filesystem sanity, both when testing Breezecom
wireless cards.  It's probably just ghosts, but one gets to thinking odd 
thinks when one is reinstalling Weeners on a laptop for the n-th time.
