Re: stripping display sequences

We used to keep this in Linux-Admin-FAQ, since it used to be asked too
often on our list (linux-admin@vger.rutgers.edu). Anyway, the simplest way
is to do something like:

man foo | col -b

[faq url is http://www.kalug.lug.net/linux-admin-FAQ/ if interested]
