openbsd/slackware routing problem
Hello Everyone,
I posted this message to the list once before, and thanks for all the
answers but it still don't work.
box1 = slackware 4.0 ip 192.168.1.2 netmask 255.255.255.0
box2 = openbsd 2.5 ip 192.168.1.1 netmask 255.255.255.0
my problem is that i can't connect or ping from one box to another, but
today i noticed a strange thing, if i ping from box1 to box2 and then
run "route show" on box2 i can se that box1's ip being listed, if i
changed the ip on box1 and then ping box2 the new ip came up on box2's
routing list.
i don't now on witch box the problem is on, but when i am running
windows on box1 i can connect to box2.
