Had the same problems on a sparcsation4. After recompiling without
pthreads it worked.
stunnel version: stunnel 3.8 on sparc-unknown-openbsd2.7 FORK+LIBWRAP
works without a problem.
PS: are pthreads still broken under 2.8 ?
