Oops, I guess I was misunderstood here.
You need not customize the Makefile if you don't need anything
that isn't already flavored. Just use the
env FLAVOR='lets bloat this package up' make system. :-)
If you want to add new flavors, or configure options that are not
in the Makefile under any flavor and won't fit under a new flavor,
_then_ you may want to customize the Makefile, and possibly
plists/pfrags.
