No I probably don't use mod_perl since I haven't installed
any additional scripts/modules except mod_perl. 
I was getting memory fault during the boot process
and the "httpd" wasn't there when doing "ps uawx".

However I have just updated and rebuilt my OpenBSD-
current and the problem seems to be gone...
