The policy in question is for new ports.

On a case by case basis, we will decide what to do about old ports (I
deleted one today, for example), so you don't have to worry about that.
I appreciate your concerns, but I'd also appreciate it if you stopped
your sarcasm here and perhaps help us if you care - if not, at least
stay out of this.
