Sure, testers welcome. Here's some info about Ices2 for those who are
interested:
Ices2 is not a possible update to net/ices (which is Ices0). Ices2 is
for streaming Ogg Vorbis, Ices0 is for MP3 streams. Both work with
Icecast v2.
At this point, Ices2 supports streaming and re-encoding (if configured
to do so) of .ogg files only as well as live input. I wasn't able to
test live streaming myself, yet(*), so any success or "this is totally
broken" reports are highly appreciated ... it is said to work, though,
that Sun input module.
The current version is -beta4 and it won't get any new features until
after it is released (which is supposed to happen soon). Ices2 will
never stream MP3, it *might* get MP3 reading support eventually, though
(but not in 2.0).
